I've just finished reading Butterfly Weed and found it to be an exceptional and altogether marvelous book.  It has been a long time since I've read a more carefully crafted and funny book. Yet, a problem with reading Harington is that one begins to feel like a resident of Stay More, a place not unlike my own town of Berryville, and one that I need to frequently escape...for all of the reasons one might wish to escape Stay More from time to time. Anyway, if you haven't read Butterfly Weed yet I encourage you to do it. It is a funny and not so gentle love story (several love stories, actually).

I thought it was so-so...not his best, not his worst....until the end. DH is not known for his great endings, but this one made me cry and cry, and the description of the death of one character was just brilliant.
